2012 just flew by. 2013 is here to stay. Wish you all a very Happy and Blessed New Year - a year with joy, peace, love, hope, share and care.
2013 began with a pretty warm weather down under and we are looking for ways to keep us cool and fresh the whole day. Looking out for some easy recipes too so that we do not have spend long hours in the kitchen. So our New Year's Lunch was pretty simple, refreshing and filling - A Fruit Salad Sundae. Just used some fruits from the fruit basket, mixed it with custard, layered with corn flakes which gives a lovely salty crunch to creamy dessert, topped with ice-cream and nuts. Now do we need a recipe for that?
Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
1. Mix fruits together with custard and keep aside. Take 2 sundae glasses. In each glass, pour 2 tbsp of strawberry puree each, gently making it flow on the sides. Divide and add fruits mixed in custard into the two sundae glasses. Add half of the crushed corn flakes on top of the fruit-custard mixture in each glass. Top with a scoop of ice-cream in each glass and finish off with nuts.
Enjoy immediately and let the heat within you die :).
